The Friendship Society held our third annual Otsukimi Full Moon Viewing and Haiku Reading on Monday September 24th at the Pulpit Rock parking lot. On this beautiful warm quiet evening, we enjoyed sharing and listening to haiku, both original and discovered, while we waited for the moon to rise. We also enjoyed Japanese tea and treats and the company of friends. It was a perfect way to participate in this ancient custom and welcome the harvest moon!
